If I was to stand on one street corner selling mind rotting chemicals, I'd quit rightly be arrested. Yet Channel 5 et al. are allowed to pump the airwaves with mind rotting crap which can be received on just about every street corner in the land with impunity. There's no justice!

I did watch it for a while a few years ago when Jack Dee was in there and escaped out of the toilet ceiling.

The level of "celeb" seems to have dropped quite a few notches since then and now oddly someone from a reality TV show is now a celeb. Of the present bunch I seem to remember the annoying woman who has a rubbish record out once and the second rate boxer, but the rest I have no idea about.

Seems the winning formula is to have 14 annoying people arguing with each other. I guess there is not much else they can do.

I haven't heard of her or Benefit Street.
I'm sure I heard on the news a while back that BB was going to be dropped? I got quite excited about that until I realised it would just be replaced with something equally banal.

Not sure how all these 'reality stars' are passing as celebs now...there are at least three of them in that house. Only 'celeb' i recognised was the boxer.

FFS. Do you know what's more boring than Big Brother? It's the inevitable and constant whining about it. It's on Channel 5. No public money was spent on it. You do not need to watch it. There's no adverts for it in other channels. Only the red tops have stories about it.

It's very easy to not see it. In fact seeing it requires much more effort that not.

Heads up, it will be on next year and the celebs will be less known.

Some people like watching. I would get more worried about those that watch far worse things. This is just entertainment and I think some people wallow in their outrage at it.

I don't watch it. Problem solved.
