I saw Slade at Blackburn's Peppermint Place nightclub in 1978. I stupidly put my head in an open front amplifier. I still think that was the moment my hearing became permanently damaged.🙄

Petula Clark was the only 'celebrity' I knew of who had the same birthday as me which is the 15th of November, albeit much longer ago than my 1960 one. I think there's another 'celeb' out there with the same date who's come along lately, but I can't remember who it is.🤔
