fantastic what a tour you guys look fit.a hell of a lot of climbing in hot weather but yeah look's like one hell of a tour well done.

Just finished reading it, looks like a great trip. I'm currently planning something similar. Noticed you camped alot in Spain, how did you go about finding campsites? I'm having trouble finding a comprehensive list on the net.

Just saw this on one of my now occasional visits to this site. Seems like you were on the same ferry as me from Ouistreham to Portsmouth on Wednesday 22nd! I was on a black Tricross with 4 panniers, on my way home after doing the Nantes to Orleans section of the Loire a velo route. Trip report here. The only other cyclist I met on the ferry (I checked in late) was a guy who had just cycled France from north to south, and is a friend of Mark Beaumont. I also stayed at the same camp site you mention in Chinon. Liked your trip report, and it has given me more food for thought!

I'd Seen your CGOAB journal Chris, good read. We did the west coast a couple of years ago.

I use this one ( eurocampings) which is pretty good but not infalible as I found to the cost of extra miles in Portugal this year! See below!
