Chain keeps falling off..........

4 times this morning.

First 3 times it fell off the outside of the big ring, and then it fell off the inside of the smallest.

Bikes a Giant SCR3 (new.) can I assume I'm just puching the shifter too far over or something?



Don't get this with EZ fire shifters.............................

It sounds like your front mech needs adjusting a little bit.
you can adjust it yourself but have a read here
before you do otherwise you can just make it worse

or you could take it back for the shop to do (as its new this should be a free service)

Unfortunately, I bought it on-line. Got an amazing deal but of course have to suffer no dealer back-up.

I have to learn to do my own servicing anyway so it'll be a good start

Nothing wrong with own servicing.............usually the best way (and I'm talking about fixing bikes of the two wheel variety here before anything starts....)

Sounds like they obviously didn't set it up properly for you.
It's good to learn and easy to do with basic tools....you can even buy a nice multitool so that if your out on your ride and it happens again then you can adjust it there and then once you know how to.
