chain length ????

ok simple question for someone who knows.
how long is a link ???
im looking at buying a new chain for a recumbent i have built, but all the chains i have seen are around 112 or 114 links now i really don't want to have to sit outside and count the amount of links i need (iv not got enough fingers and toes lol) so how long are they i can convert feet and inches and meters and millimetres i just haven't got a conversion for links.

please someone help and save me from trying to count lol

brilliant so that will mean 114 link chain should be 57 inch or 4 ft 9 inch thanks for that i can now order my chains and not have to worry if i have enough lol

i would just order 2 chains and hope that is ok if not order a third and delay the finish point a little

i will need 3 chains i had a feeling i would as i used 2 and a bit chains from old bikes i have but wasn't sure its only about 8 inches of the 3rd chain thats needed but atleast i will have plenty spare

Any bearing suppliers near you? It might be cheaper buying it "off the roll".
Need 15 feet of it myself.
