4 Cambridge canoe club members had a nice ride out today to Ashwell, the source of the river Cam in Hertfordshire. It was a nice scenic route, plenty of other lycra clad people to wave & nod to, a pot of tea, good company. Who could ask for more?

The only hill in Cambridgeshire, Chappel hill from Haslingfield to Barrington, I stood up on the pedals just to get a bit of momentum, and........ snaparoonie! Of course, Arthur being a super cool bloke just happened to have a chain tool and spare link to get me going again. So, to the top of the hill, and hit 40mph down the other side.

So i need a new chain, a chain tool and some spare links.

Moral of the story? Always take an Arthur with you!
