Do you mean length or width?
Width would be determined by your x speed cassette. Chains are supplied over length so you'll need to cut it to length. You can use your old chain as a guide measure link for link not overall length.

Everyone has there favourite brand , i like kmc chains as i find their quick links , the bit you use to join the chain easy compared to some .Remember to take a link out to allow for the quick link !
You will also as said need a chain tool , dont skimp on this as i have found the cheap ones have a pin made of soft metal that will bend and not press the chain pin out properly .

they must have dumbed down the Vengeance over time then, as my quite old one is 9 speed. anyway @icf1 count the cogs at the back
