Made a job lot of my own following a recipie that was linked to in a thread on here, last summer. I've got 2 great big tubs of the stuff - something of an issue with estimating how much I would use / need. All ingredients sourced from Boots, the most expensive part being a bottle of withchazel.

Edit: It was tea tree oil actually...

My OH uses Assos, and finds it really good.

I've never needed to use any.

I use Udderly Smooth. It's good and a bit cheaper than the Assos stuff. Both are VERY different to sudocream and vaseline. Vaseline in particular sounds like a bad idea to me.

10'000 cycling miles every year seems to disagree with you.
But each to their own and all that.
