thats how i had one clipless. coming down a steep hill so in top gear, get to the lights at the bottom and i forgot. Go to set off and i go know where, over i went.
It happens to me sometimes, but mostly I try to anticipate stopping. It can be amusing seeing peds on a crossing looking alarmed as pedal towards them trying to change down, I will always stop before the line but if they don't cycle they don't understand the need to pedal when changing down...
I don't really play with the gears like this because if I did I think I wouldn't have any left after another of my seven day commutes. At least these cyclists stop.I keep catching the slow ones who dont bother.
Same. Sure a good roadie might pass me 100yards down the road, once they've got into a high gear, but how often do you get 100yard of road without obstruction in London?
