I used to start my 10.25 mile commute at 7:30am, get to work a bit sweaty and have a good wash with a flannel.
My hours have changed and I set off to work this morning at 8:45am, wow did that make a difference in temperature, I was sweating buckets when I got in and took I had took it slow.

Roll on the cooler weather!

You are right- although I won't go about wishing cooler weather- has happened to me a fair amount recently whilst extending some rides in, thought about starting a 'how do I stop sweating so much' thread but decided the answers were pretty obvious. I'm ending up taking two drinks bottles with me just to get to work.

This is part of the reason I generally get a lift in (with the bike) and cycle home. When I did used to regularly commute both ways, it was in a job where appearance didn't matter so I'd get in (last minute, of course) and sit at my desk whilst the sweat trickled down my legs and into my Doc Marten boots (it was the 90s and I was a student, ok?) Change of socks about 10 o'clock and that was me done. Not sure I'd fancy doing it as a proper adult though!

Even on most days in winter, I get to work a sweaty mess. I spend 15 or so mins at my desk with the fan on reading emails etc then go and have a shower when I've cooled down a bit.

I set off at 05:30 and I've had a jacket on last two days. Wore it all the way into work yesterday, but stopped and took it off after about 25 miles today.
