changing bottom bracket

Hi guys,

Is it possible to replace the existing shimano M442 cranck with a hollow tech bottom bracket on my wifes trek wsd 6300?

I would think so. You will have a square tapered bottom bracket of which you would need to change to Bottom Bracket cups. Mista Preston of this parish did the same with his Giant.

yes its not a problem at all. I went through 2 tapered BB's over winter and changed to BB cups. You will have to buy the BB Cups and a Hallowtech Crank. I bought a new Tiagra Hallowtech crank and the cups from CRC and so far so good. For me they are easier to service and mine is lighter.
