is there an easy way or a trick to changing brake blocks. I always seem to have a battle sliding the old ones out and the new ones in. Using Swiss stops so "changing the cartridge" isn't the answer, I have to change the blocks in the cartridge?

Depends. Sometimes they can be a pig. Remove brake pad and prise it out of the carrier with a screwdriver. I usually push them with a blunt object to slide them out. Pushing down on the garage floor usually shifts them.

Clean carrier before putting new pad in

Not just me then, good. Stubby flat blade screw driver employed.

Actually on evidence of one block, Ulegra cartridges are much easier than Reparto corse ones.
