Changing Cassette

I have recently bought a FELT F5 compact 50 x 34T and shimano 105 11-25T cassette on a short cage rear derailleur, as I do struggle on hills I was looking to swap to a 11-28 cassette. Is this possible to do as a straight swap or are there any other changes required?

Someone else will advise but I manage OK with 27, but 28 may be a push

I managed to change my shimano tiagra from a 25 to a 28 then to a 32! shouldn't work but it did.
so would think a 28T on a 105 should be no trouble.
Just check you have a bit of a gap between the rear mech wheels and the 25T and that you have a
little play in the rear mech when on the 25T to allow for the extra diameter adding an extra links might not work as chain might then be too long on smallest cassette cog.

Thanks for your input, just to let you know I have now fitted an 11-28 cassette and it works perfectly.
