They brought the Clangers back! When.
That was mean. I mean they grew up on the moon, and then they go and bring them back here. When they took them to Brian Cant's Studio, durr!! :whiste:
Didn't land on it though. As you said it orbited, went round the moon.
We did do it. Think NASA East, Shepperton Studios, where 2001 was filmed....and if the Americans could've faked it, you'd expect the Russians'd've done it too.... and us, and the Germans.
Most of what was known about the moon, to NASA, came via a third party in this country. The British Interplanetary Society.I see an obvious flaw in all of this though, I mean, you could bring it all back, but people still wouldn't believe you, they would say it was fake, that they were very clever replicas, or that if they were real, that they wouldn't actually tell us more than we already know.
One of my friends thought Lance Armstrong won the Tour de France! One of my friends thinks Lance Armstrong went to the moon loooool
For the doubters how about pictures of the tracks left on the moons surface

Answer the three questions above then.Right... hands up all those who truly believe the moon landings were faked... then the rest of us can point and laugh at you all

My question... why are you talking about 2001 ??? And do you really think* the footage from the moon and the scenes in the movie are comparable?1. For each scene in any movie, how many times would that scene be practised/rehearsed & re-shot before those in charge were happy with the end product. Two - three, more? At least once, and often once, especially if Ed Wood is directing... and there's a big difference between rehearsing and 'shooting' a scene.
2. What would happen to all the film used in getting those scenes just right? They don't film the rehearsals, they don't like to waste film, because that's a big waste of money
3. Why were NASA involved in the making of a film, but never mentioned in the credits for that film? Were they really 'involved'? They might have been 'consulted' about certain aspects of space flight, but there's nothing unusual about that... films have researchers and researchers consult relevant bodies.
Don't waste your time, MV. People who believe these moon/JFK/911 bollox conspiracies don't do so on the basis of facts, imaginary or otherwise - it is just their way of dealing with a difficult and uncontrollable world.Right... hands up all those who truly believe the moon landings were faked... then the rest of us can point and laugh at you all![]()
