EBay fiddle**s delisted my auction.
It appears my link to wiggles review was the problem despite them not selling the bike anymore. What a bunch of to**ERS. I have relisted http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321391893673?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649
Now there are only 6 watchers and no bidders, before there were 62 watchers and 3 bidders I will pull it if it doesn't improve. JB

FYI - a lot of people are wise to bidding now and hold back until near the end, and lots of others use bid sniping software to bid for them right at the death of an auction.
Use bidnip myself 20 snipes for $9.99 only count if you win. Don't get involved in bidding wars bid 10 seconds before the end.

2 and half stone? that is working hard! Exercise or dieting or a bit of both? I do that 5:2 diet. It is meant to be my permanent diet. So easy to do. I am stuck about 7 - 10lb overweight but that's not much. I could easy get rid but I like my beer to much. I love rural pub life.

Cheers bud  Its both TBH. I did have a set back a few of weeks ago due to an accident but I'm just about back on track now, but I would still like to drop about another 1.5 - 2 stones!!

I just need Mrs Smoo to hide the remaining Easter eggs

I'm thinking of the 5:2 when I get to my goal, but time will tell.

My problem was an infection in my spine which attacked my whole body, they put it down to arthritis!. Finally ended up at Nottingham hospital for 5 weeks, oh was the food good there and plenty of it. Then home to the home help "force" feeding me full Monty breakfast every morning. Months on crutches. Eventually got exercise bike. Took a while but I am now doing a fair bit of cycling. As I have septic arthritis in one knee walking is a bit limited, cycling OK as long as I don't stand up to much.

No you cannot "detick" PayPal but you can refuse to accept it. I am now on my third listing but have decided to make it a 10 day listing starting on the 1st. Alternatively I will shoot myself!

I will probably take this off as I had enough. Nearly certain I made this a 10 day listing. I find that it is 5 day listing. So many delisted copies that I may have listed it wrong. Decent price by 10pm or it is off........I hate eBay!

"YET AGAIN EBAY HAVE DELISTED MY BIKE FOR HAVING A LINK TO AN INTERNET SITE WITH REVIEWS OFF THE BIKE. GOD I REALLY H*TE THEM!!"

This won't win you any friends at ebay, at the end of the day it's their site, their rules. IME if you want to still use ebay then suck it up and avoid $hit slinging.

"CASH ON COLLECTION NO PAYPAL EBAY DOES NOT ALLOWE YOU TO “DETICK” PAYPAL."

No need for the bold capitals or swipe at ebay. Simply add, "as this item is collection only our payment terms are cash on collection" Simple, direct and IME works a treat.

"I may take this bike of at anytime as it is advertised elsewhere. Basically I am sick of eBay messing me about. This should be a 10 day listing yet eBay have managed to change it to a 5 day listing."

Another ebay no no, don't tell them it's advertised elsewhere, simple. Also more $hit slinging here won't win you friends and influence people. I've never had a listing changed from what I selected in over 10 years, but that's not to say it doesn't happen.

Do I like ebay? No, never have and I never will, but the fact is they still have the largest audience. I've never had any success with Gumtree, (FYI it's also owned by ebay), or any other internet auction site TBH, so if you want the audience for your items as I say you have to suck it up as it's their house and their rules

Actually I think enforcing people to allow/offer PayPal is almost certainly illegal but until the authorities deal with it we will have to live with it.
I don't really care about friends at eBay. Also owning Gumtree has the stench of monopoly behaviour? Either way fu*k ebay. And there 10% rip of charges. And underlining no PayPal did not lead to me being delisted. Further more all the reasons they gave for delisting me ie the links were in the original sellers description I just copied and pasted?
Reference listed elsewhere lots of listing have that and you can delist for many reasons as long as it is more than 12 hours before the end ie
From eBay site

Choose a reason for canceling bids and ending your listing early:

The item is lost or broken.
There's an error in the starting price or reserve amount.
There's an error in the listing.
The item is no longer available for sale.

Took it off this morning about 13 hours before end. Sold for £500 within an hour. EBay appear to be telling me I will have to pay for the listing up to that point unless I relist? Very vague even appeared to be saying I had to do it straight away?
What a bunch of snides. I wouldn't mind but they don't pay tax here so why the monopoly commission don't give them a good kicking is beyond me?

Go on, tilt your head!
Gumtree is owned by eBay?? Never knew that!

I have had quite a lot of success with Gumtree. I've only ever had one item that didn't sell when advertised on Gumtree but that went in minutes after listing on a Facebook specialist group.

Have you tried finding a local Facebook group and advertising there?
