We are a cycling group, mainly road, looking for riders all over the North West. Primarily we are based in and around Manchester but due to the location of our members we have rides being organised all over the northwest including areas such as Glossop, Macclesfield, Liverpool, Bolton and all areas inbetween. Huddersfield, Sheffield and Derby are gaining some traction also
Charity Chain was originally put together to organise cycling charity events to help those more unfortunate than our selves through local charities and support organisations and as such we organise several charity events per year which we ask everybody to get involved in.
We encourage people to post rides they have completed using such apps as Strava or Runkeeper etc.. and any associated pictures you have taken whilst out on your excursions.
As part of being a member of our group you have access to the following;
We have Team Jerseys Available for sale, a detailed info sheet can be found on these in the files section.
Emergency Cards Available for purchase, these contain your personal/next of kin/medical details incase of serious incident. An e-card is highly recommended when ever you’re out on your bike and an order form can be found in the files section named e-card details.
We are in the process of organising group discounts on servicing, parts and accessories. As a group member you will be entitled to these alongside a discount card.
You will be able to become a member of our group on Strava, We will provide the link upon request.
You will also have access to a group specific hire bike, this will be for anyone’s use for whatever reason but there will be a small fee, the fee may be waived in certain circumstances at the discretion of the admin team.
