Driver side swipes some riders then shows them the finger. So far so dull. Except two of the riders were police officers, photos were taken:

she pulled in front of us completely over into the bike lane almost to the curb and slammed on her brakes. I was in disbelief that a driver would be that blatant but then when we all pulled up to the stop light at Elm, where she again pulled over into the bike lane and confronted her she was as horrible a human being as you can imagine. She was angry, snarky and mean.

They find out who she is and where she works. On Linkedin you can see who has viewed which profiles. The CFO of her company has just viewed her's.

Older people don't seem to understand the power of social media, which makes it possible to find and persecute just about anybody nowadays. I remember hearing a senior detective on TV saying of somebody the Police wanted to interview: "He's not active on social media so he's proving rather difficult to find". Privacy is one reason why I don't bother with all that crap, the second being that I also heard a computer security specialist saying that you shouldn't put private stuff on the web because once it's out there, it's there for all time and we have no idea how it will be abused in the future.

Mind you, by using web fora like this I've probably already broken my own rule.....

Some of the worst journalism I have ever seen. This women literally and physically tried to harm 30 people and smiled while flipping them the bird after. Now you are trying to make her the victim and the cyclists as people who have gone to far. All this will do is make people more angry towards cyclists. This is garbage and anyone involved in this piece of trash should be ashamed about what they have turned into. These are not journalists, these are fake reporters playing into the downfall of what was once a real and honest profession. Shame on this lady and shame on wcnc. All I can hope is that the PD realizes what this lady has done and presses charges against her for attempting to harm if not kill 30 people while she had her kid in the car. I know in my state that would be considered a serious crime. But I guess mean emails are worse than attempted physical harm or murder. Let's see these reporters get in a bike lane, let's have them with a camera attached to their bikes as cars zip past them with no regard for their safety. Then have them report on this again.
