There's about a dozen of us from Sotonia CC going, should be good.

What did we think? Hmmm.... I had my 11 year-old "interest level meter" with me and he definitely fidgeted a bit around the middle of the film. However for the racing sequences, which were fantastically shot in great colour with excellent sound, he was on the edge of his seat. I thought there was too much reliance on interviews and not enough on the day to day business of running a racing team. The short sequence on the mechanics was fascinating, I'd have liked to have seen more of their jobs as well as the soigneurs and the work done by the domestiques.

The Q&A session afterwards was disappointing as Cav, bless him, is so awkward and inarticulate. He fidgeted and muttered his way through a couple of replies before we gave up and went home to bed. How long did the session last?

I really enjoyed it. I thought some of the race footage was great, especially on the big screen. Loved the shots in the mountains, and the footage of the descents. Some real LOL moments too ... Mark Renshaw aka Prince Harry was one. I also enjoyed the Q&A session - it made you feel part of a unique event, although I would like to have seen more questions from the audience. Cav may be awkward and inarticulate, but he wears his heart on his sleeve, and is much more honest and open than most top sportsmen (no Tiger Woods style "It is what it is" replies).

If I'm being critical, I thought they should have shown a bit more footage of the race that wasn't centred on HTC-Columbia's performance - Contador hardly got a mention and he won it! They could have made a bit more of the fact it was Lance's comback and the friction between Lance and Contador.

That's a bit harsh! Even though he was clearly nervous he still managed to be witty and entertaining with some great one-liners and he's not half as daft as he pretends. The line "I'm not bigheaded, but no-one ever asks me what I'm shoot at" was just priceless. I also liked "I just say what I think...actually, I don't think...I just say!"

I was there with a few from our club.

It thought the film was great. Fanastic racing shots, and some of banter in team briefings was very funny. Great nicknames in the HTC team.

Q&A however was very disappointing IMHO.
