Are the intrigued locals Brahmans? They were about the third most common cattle type (after Herefords and Fresians) back home when I was a kid

Stalls along the road
Did you try a cholado? Not neccesarily from that whole row of stalls, but from anywhere in Colombia.
Town signs are often sponsored, usually with beer and can be miles from the town.
Not sure I want a beer smelling of coffee....or sardine fishermen....

Prickly pear (well that's what I know it as) produces an edible fruit but its advisable to have pliers and a knive ready to de-spike it.
