As the number of bikes in the household has grown to 6 (7 in January) of which two are mine, There is a need for me to have a seperate bike storage facility.
Preferably under £100 and possibly where the bikes are rear ended and hung on the front wheel (I already have hooks). I am happy for it to be plastic as it will be stored in the beck garden and have a lock on the doors.

Any solutions?

I solved this by putting ceiling hooks in the garage. The good bikes go up there, the kids bikes are in the shed. Just make sure the hooks go into joists, not just plasterboard.

Bikeradar did a couple of articles on shed security, I'd give those a read and reinforce any shed you buy. Nuts and bolts instead of screws, ground anchors etc.

Wooden sheds vary massively in quality and price depending on where you buy them:
1. The lowest quality and most expensive come from the big DIY stores.
2. Garden centres usually have fairly good sheds but theyare often mega bucks
3. Good quality, cheap sheds can be bought from Shed builders - these places are often family run and randomly located out of town or sometimes on industrial estates. You can usually see a stack of wood waiting near by for the orders to come in.

You wont get much for £100 anywhere though!
