Cheap but good pedals wanted.

I am on the lookout for some decent pedals, platform type with strapless toe clips for Eileens bike (my missus) she cant go clipless with her knee problem but she is willing to give toe clips a try so long as they are the none restrictive ones and she can get her feet out very quickly.

What have you got lurking in the garage/shed

welgo V8 platforms have served me well over the last decade...



...my foot has never slipped off them once, regardless of which shoe is on my foot.... so they tick one major box. And I've had mine for about 12 years now, so that's another box. I paid £14 in 2001.

they don't really seem to take a clip, which was an issue for me when i bought them, but, they simply work without a clip... although you're specifically looking for a clip, maybe not... they are great for the price though.

I had the V12 on my MTB..................still got the scars to prove

are they toe clip compatible, I can see the screw holes but don't think they would go in
