A fun project but a waste of money IMO

Just the tiniest gust of wind from the side and it will blow over.

You could just have a flat bed trailer made of plywood, then put your tent up on it. That would save the tedious misery of putting your tent up each night and be a lot lighter weight that the bloke's set-up

I could carry a big ole tent for the weight that contraption is, and have room to move about. That has the actual space of about a one-man tent, or a travelling hammock, both of which I find preferable to towing a trailer. I do use a trailer from time to time, but that's when I'm travelling heavy, and covering shorter miles per day. Or gardening.

I don't agree with knocking the guy. He is innovative and has some good ideas. It may appeal to some people, we are all different. I don't think it is a serious bike touring thing. But for a homeless guy who may just move a few miles I think it is preferable to a park bench or a bit of hard ground under a bridge. I've been in situations where I would have welcomed crawling in there for a night.
