Dayvo's Gatwick flights will be the cheapest.
For Ryanair, minimise the extra charges by booking online reasonably well beforehand, including bike, and do the online check-in as well.

If you get a cheap Dover ferry and ride, there's several days of food and accommodation to pay for, plus a ferry from Denmark to Norway, or train from Denmark to Sweden (there's bridges now) and more riding/food/accommodation.
The Harwich to Esbjerg ferry is expensive (£400 ish), and you've still to get to Norway.

Harwich to Esjberg ferry is fairly basic as ferries go, not spanky and modern and you've still got a fair way to go. It'd make for an interesting tour though, up through Sweden and back on the ferry from Norway or something.

I'm using Norwegian.com for my flights next month. Gatwick to Trondheim going out, Tromso to Oslo to Gatwick return. Bikes are booked on via telephone booking. Pleased with the prices. £74 out, £104 return including tax (excluding bike)
