Fwiw, the GSC10 can be lengthened with some basic wiring tools and a soldering iron

And Decathlon do their own sensor too.
Beaten to it by fossy. I bought a cheapo ANT speed and cadence sensor from Decathlon for my old commuter a couple of years ago and it works fine with any head unit I've owned. The build quality is a bit lighter than the Garmin and fitting isn't quite as secure.
