check in time for uk internal flights

anybody know how long before departure time you have to book in for a uk internal flight ?

Mmm, noy wishing to be funny or anything, but I'd ask the airline, rather than us lot on here. The rules may have changed from last time we travelled, and / or your airline might be less "flexible" than another

Its most definitely before the plane takes off if thats any help.

I normally get there about an hour before take off but that is sometimes cutting it fine depending on the queues at security.

It all depends on how much shopping they think they can persuade you to do at the terminal.
