I've been on here for about 6 months now and (sadly for those who don't appreciate my presence) feel quite at home

I'm a member of a few other interest-specific forums but rarely post outside of the main subject as I find my opinions usually at odds with those of most others. I'm happy to say this doesn't appear to be the case on here and it feels good to be around (mostly) likeminded people; particularly in terms of a shared environmental conscience.

I looked at a few cycling forums before joining, but glad I chose CC

Which has reminded me of a story decades old. After we got married,i began going out cycling again.Honeymoon period soon wears off.So there i was in my full lycra and at that stage i did not wear the baggy shorts, which are now obligatory.
So she took one look at me and said.
If you get knocked down don't tell them i am the next of kin.

And just a question why on a cycling site has spell checker underlined lycra. twice now,get a grip computer.

I know. I laughed myself stupid when me old mate @Accy cyclist was arrested because he thought that lady copper was a strip-O-gram.
