Cheshire Smokehouse. Any good?

We're off to Manc tomorrow to see Vicky, Chris et al and were thinking of dropping in on the Cheshire Smokehouse near the airport for a mooch round and try their all day breakfast.

Does anyone know the place? Is it worth the diversion off the motorway, or should we just go to the cafe at Asda next to the velodrome?

If you're at the velodrome, try bar Fringe. Peach of a pub.

It has got a very good reputation. I live around the corner but have never dropped in but friends who have gone recommend it highly. It is very easy to get to off the M56.

Great place the Smokehouse, I properly recommend it if you're passing on the M56 or live there abouts. The quality of the food at the cafe was outstanding, and the shop itself can easily drain your bank account with all the goodies on offer. My freezer is now groaning with various smokey/meaty delights.
