Child seat info needed please...

Greetings.
I would like to fit a child seat to my Missus' bike it's a Carenne.
A. Do I need to fit a pannier rack first.
B. What is the best, safest and most comfortable seat to get for a five month old baby girl.

Budget is about £200.

I had a feeling most manufacturers recommend children being a bit older than that; nine months rings a bell, atlhough it's going to vary a bit from child to child depending on how big and strong they are.

For young kids, I think the front mounted seats are nicer - you can talk more easily.

I don't have one but somebody posted a picture of his Weeride a little time ago. They look a lot of fun. I particularly like the headrest!
