I bought my wife and oldest girl bike for Christmas and they've got the cycling bug big time now. However, we've got a 2 year old (she got a balance bike) and we're going away over Easter weekend to Anglesey and wanted to to take the bikes as it's pretty flat with some nice, quiet cycle routes. I've tried her in a bike seat and she didn not like it, therefore a trailer is the answer (I hope) and serves the dual purpose that I can store stuff in there with her!

So I don't know if this is the correct place for this but has anyone got a Child Bike trailer? And is so does anyone have any recommendations for one? A lot of them seem to be more expensive than my bike but I did find this one on Halfords site and it seems to have a lot of favourable reviews and at a reasonable price:-

If I remember correctly @User482 has a kiddie trailer for sale.

I have a kiddie trailer, and the kiddie loves it. Will have to give it up next year as he will be too big for it.
You will find that cars will give you a much wider berth out on the roads. And it always makes people smile. Car drivers and peds alike.

@MattE72 I had a look at that Halfords trailer and thought it was pretty cheaply made. Ok for occasional use but if you're planning regular trips, nursery run etc I would stump up the cash and buy a trailer from a reputable brand such as Croozer, Burley or Chariot.

Recent family expansion (!) means my single Croozer is going to be put up for sale soon, but the going rate second hand is about double the cost of that Halford's trailer. If you're interested do please drop me a PM.

@User482 Thanks for the offer but we plumped for the cheaper option from Halfords as she's not really going to be in it for long.

Had two very enjoyable days out so far, down the river to Chester and around Llyn Brenig. The little one loved it and I couldn't get the little sod out when we got back to the car!
