Choosing my Christmas present

I was in my local LBS yesterday and spotted this Koga Solacio Ultegra. It would make a lovely commuter or summer night trip out bike and would also look nice with my Koga World Traveller and Koga Roadchamp. I might even get out on an Audax next year.

I think I have found my Christmas present.

It is a nice looking bike but I've never seen one of the make 'in the flesh' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no mudguards on my Koga Roadchamp. I can carry a light pack with my lunch in. I dont need a rack and mudguards. A small pack on the seatpost would do the job.

I wouldnt change it for a bike names after a sandwich shop.

The Roadchamp is an excellent commuter but its nice to have something different every now and again.

Mudguards. ......dont make me laugh.
