If Mr R has a change of heart...let me know!
Could be tempted but weekdays are always tricky. Nice combination.

I saw The Sixteen a couple of months ago in Blackburn Cathedral towards the end of their 2016 tour. They were, as you would expect, absolutely superb.

My cycling buddy shared a flat with Harry Christophers at Oxford; he says Christophers was quite a party animal at that time.

In their mid 50s maybe

It's a bit more complicated than that...
Choral music, best for middle of the night insomnia. Down low on the radio, so relaxing.
Some Palestrina, maybe, if sung badly (but looking at their programme it's all, as you'd expect, high-quality stuff). Poulenc - never.

Every choral singer and conductor I have ever met has been something of a party animal. I don't suppose years of touring really changes that.

Unfortunately money is going elsewhere at the moment. That would have been great to see.

When I was first at Corpus I went to the advent service. The choir sounded fantastic, but then after the first verse the congregation joined in.

It was like Torvil & Dean followed by water buffalo!
