As someone who is nearly 15 years younger than most of the presenters, I just feel like it is a completely dated format and needs a change. They are overly childish because they are so much older than their own demographic that they over-compensate for the age gap.

I mean Fearne Cotton who presents the show after 10am is 30 years old fer christ sake!!!

Means nothing to me, I listen to R4 or Talksport.

Radio ?

I don't think I've listened to the radio since the invention of the internet.

I still have a wonderful Sony world-band radio I used to take all over the world so I could listen to the BBC, but since English language TV appeared in every hotel room, the internet became available in every coffee shop and I stopped travelling every week then I don't switch on the radio from one month to the next.

Good gracious sir! What you infer is the gospel truth !
Madame resembles the aged paternal grand parent, would you not agree my brother ?
The above statement is is so cool it belongs in a dairy!

My suggestion would be for the madam concerned to be put on the proverbial scrap heap and obtain the services of a young Jockey of Disc's known as 'Forbes', in my opinion that would be a good idea

Half way there
Never really liked the bloke but when he called one of the women who worked on his show a slag, live on air cos he was still half cut completely finished it for me.

Radio 2 or xfm in the car and 6 music at home.

Er. I'm from /that/ generation and even I cannot decipher that.

Look up the demographics for the radio station. My statement makes complete sense, no need to be offended.

I agree, no offence taken, just makes me feel very old considering I am a tiny bit* older than 30!
Should I no longer enjoy the 'latest' music?
And if you were to bin off any of the DJ's that are post 30, there wouldn't be that many left! (That of course may be a good thing to you!)

I must add that my musical tastes cover a broad range of genres and ages. The only thing I don't like is Dubstep, that is in my opinion, teeth-smashingly bad.

For the most part, I can tolerate Chris Moyles, but do find him a little tedious at times.

*By tiny bit, I mean a decade.

I'm merely pointing out the demographics, IMO there is massive listening potential between radio 1 and 2, I still can't really listen to radio 2 without falling asleep or sighing at the daily wail esque callers on Jeremy vine. Radio 1 just does my head in, music on a loop, same rubbish everyday and presenters who are afraid to admit they are past it, unfortunately for them there isn't a radio station to operate as an intermediatary between 1 and 2.

As for commercial regional. Don't even go there.

Woah there you don't love heart fm?! The same eight minute loop of music interspersed with 30 mins of advertising for webuyanycar.com?
