Christmas avatars, gentlemans agreement?

Not to use any untill at least the 1st of December, waddaya fink?

Its bad enough seing the Christmas goodies appearing in the shops in mid-Summer, but this place should be more of a retreat, shouldn't it?

Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas avatars and have one waiting in the wings (from last Year) to press into service 2 weeks before Christmas but its too way too early now IMO.

Or am I just being a miserable sod

spot on panter. as someone in retail advertising, for whom it's been christmas since july at work, it would be nice to see the festivities kick off nearer the time…

i have dug my christmas avatar out, but it won't be on here until december 1.

I'll hold my Xmas heffalump of until December. I think maybe allow anyone who has done it already to stand, esp Night Train, who a) needs cheering up and has a very impressive moving hat and painted hooves.

I'll take mine down for a bit and bring it back nearer the time, it is a bit early really but it feels all wrong especially when I have already done two pantos, had a Christmas party and eaten a Christmas dinner at CAT AND it is still November!
