That's an enormous amount of booze to get through in the next week or so, hopefully you've got help?

I've realised that apart from buying a bottle of Advocaat (for a traditional snowball on Christmas Day.... And well into the new year to finish the bottle off), and a bottle of Muscat for a nice boozy pudding, that I've failed to buy any other alcohol (though there are quite a few bottles in the house anyway). I think I need to do a quick raid for some additional supplies.

I'm jealous

As a little Christmas gift my boss gave me a couple of bottles of Orchard Pig cider. At the end of shift I was given 2 free pints of Copper ale. I had one of the bottles of Cider when I got to my parents last night & will have the other later on tonight.

That'll be the sum total of my Christmas drinking
my wifes teetotal so if I wanted a drink in the house I would have to do it by myself, and that doesn't appeal to me one bit, I would feel a bit of a sado. We will be going out for meals etc, so plenty of opportunities to get tanked up xmas week..

meanwhile - we're well stocked up with hot chocolate
Now't wrong with a bit of that amongst consenting adults IMHO
