Well iv'e had my ridiculously portioned Christmas dinner and several drinks now im just slumped on the sofa feeling full,the kids are upstairs playing just dance on the wii and her indoors is washing upI could do with a nap its knackering eating whats everyone else doing?

Just eaten a plate fit for three (couldn't quite manage it all though ... hic) and have left Mrs. and Little Ms. Admin downstairs whilst I jump on the PC upstairs for a three hour Battlefield 3 online high-ticket gaming marathon - should leave me nice and relaxed for a half tin of Roses later for me tea!

Chilled out for the last hour. Now going to the kitchen to prep the veg for this evenings big meal. I am managing to pace myself pretty well, not too much of anything yet today and feeling good for it.

Well we were on our own first thing this morning for the first time in over 25 years!

Quite a strange feeling. But I wasn't long before mayhem ensued. A frenzy of wrapping paper being ripped open and kids both young and old jumping up and down. Followed by a gut busting lunch and just a little wine (hic).
Recent events finally caught up with me after lunch and I adjourned for a couple of hours sleep. Raring to go again, bring on the night.

Because for the first time in long enough I could please myself what to eat, I had a nice big fillet of plaice chips and peas. Now I am eating an enormous lump of one of Moon bunny's lemon caks.

Had an absolutely cracking dinner earlier. I was in charge of the Turkey, the Mrs in charge of the veg & trimmings. We have just watched a film, I have had a couple of whiskies and done some damage to the tin of quality street. It's almost time to think about getting Christmas Tea ready, cold meats, pickles, cheese and biscuits. Then its a bit of telly and after Downton Abbey I'll no doubt fall asleep on the sofa, but not before I ring a mate later about going out for a couple of hours on the bike tomorrow to work it all off. Now where did I put that tin of chocolates?

Funny enough it was not cold. My friend sat in a T shirt.

It is the 3rd time we have done it now (picnic by the sea) and is now a full on tradition.

Well, we've had presents and dinner and washed up, and now we're watching Dr Who. Once that's over, the littles will have their tea, and after they've gone to bed, we'll tackle some leftover beef and pork pie for supper...
