They tend to be public performances here - donations on the door to charity in community centres / church at evening time rather than in the school during school hours.

Can you go to a nativity if you don't have any kids in it? Sounds like one way to be branded a paedo to me.

Only if you're male and you sit at the back, wearing nothing but a long raincoat with no trousers on underneath and your socks held up with sock suspenders and every so often you make weird grunting noises ...

Don't like Christmas, get stressed. The lovely thing this year is my son and girlfriend have invited us and my 90 year old Mum on Christmas day, woohoooo! I don't have to cook all the rubbish!

I used to like it because of the time off when I was at work but how find the hype and the talk of 'the big day' irritating. I do however like getting people something nice but stress whether they will like it. I have made two Christmas presents this year, one is a crochet 'curly' scarf which took absolutely ages - and that was to someone I don't know on a craft forum! Am I mad? The other was a knitted scarf to go with another present for a lovely friend.

I really don't like people spending too much money on me if they can't afford it! (like the other half)
