Some of the cast, band and the professional dancers do hang out together. There was a memorable evening in York last year with him and the sax player accompanying Michael Starke (Sinbad from Brookside for those with long memories) doing karaoke in some bar.

We are planning on going down Christmas eve and coming back Boxing day so no time for cycling.
@irw - he is a trumpet player. He worked for the same company last year but in York so was able to stay at home. I have, obviously, run the idea past him first!

Yorkshire to Sevenoaks on Christmas Eve and back on Boxing Day will be crazy driving.

I'm not sure a provincial pantomime is likely to attract Michelle Pfeiffer or Julia Roberts anyway. Someone off Coronation Street or a member of Little Mix seems more likely. And Sevenoaks FM's star DJ as the Dame.

So Christmas is now sorted! We have booked a flat above a country pub near Rye for 5 nights for a bit of a holiday. Son is staying with his girlfriend in London for his panto run but she is going home for Christmas and he wasn't fancying Christmas Day on his own in a student house in Acton. We will pick him up after his show on Christmas Eve and take him back to Sevenoaks on Boxing Day. Younger son coming too and we are hoping to do some walking.
