Christmas MTB

Added a little Christmas cheer to my MTB which should bring a smile to some of the other riders during my weekly ride to Styal.......had a few comments regarding my bells though

Never mind the tinsel, some lousy git has dumped a Skoda Favorit on your drive!

I'd ring the council and get them to pick it up asap, leave it there too long and people might think it's yours

In the past the club Xmas Lunch, Coventry Road Club, was very well supported and a lot of people attending would do so in fancy dress with their bikes decorated with Xmas lights and tinsel, the group riding out looked amazing, these days the lunch is a smaller plainer affair, I haven't attended one for a couple years.

Snotty is nearly there but cars are not as fun as they used to be unlike cycling, might have a final go soon to get the old girl on the road. All the Skoda's I have had have been super solid underneath. The kids for some strange reason want me to do the school run in it...how times change !

I have had a few Favorit's and they are becoming a collectable which I sometimes find strange as I remember when they first came out and I did not like them.This is my little project which I am tickling up for next year

I used to have a 1977 Skoda Estelle that was green and heavily modified which we all called Snotty......even the Czechs called her Snotty ! The later Favorit you see in the photo has also acquired the name Snotty but now she is called Snotty.2 !
