Turkey, nah, Paella or Rissotto for us this year.
We only eat a dinner if we go to a restaurant and we have Christmas Day at home with the kids rather than half of it wasted cooking.

Yet come December/January with the cold/wind/rain/wind/sleet/snow/wind, it'll be "can't wait for the summer, already booked a week away in ( insert nice sunny destination)"

We don't buy for each other instead we invest in good food and wine and relax and enjoy the time off. We buy for both families because we enjoy giving and always ask others not to buy for us as we don't want or need anything so don't stress. My folks usually give us money which so far has bough 2 shortie wetsuits and a picnic backpack amongst other things. TVC's family buy us wine as this is what we buy them. It is too commercial these days, it is all about being pressured into spending a lot of money rather than giving a thoughtful gift.

As a Butcher we are already thinking of all our lovely customers who want to gorge on food for 2 days and give us at least two weeks of bloody 18 to 20 hour days. Christmas day goes by with me generally snoreing.

Nice set of skinny wheels with disc brake's on would be nice to open at some stage though.
