I work in a well known DIY store and they have just got some of the Christmas stock in,
I did notice in tesco's the other day they was starting to put Christmas stuff on the shelf's.

A couple of local shops near me have put Christmas themed chocolate on their shelves already.

It's odd walking in to a face full bright red, Santa shaped stocking fillers whilst your calendar says "October" and the Amazon wish list still has 2012 written on it.

Couple of years back, M&S started selling mincies all year... do they still do this? Can't say I've noticed, can't say I've looked, either tbh. I love them, but they make me fart like Satan's trumpeters.
