Is 2017 going to be as bad as 2016?
Given that each successive year sees more people alive than the previous one, a proportion of whom will be famous, it's only to be expected that the number of famous people dying will go up year-on-year, too.

Quite a nasty fella but then so was Ike Turner. Both 'innovators' though.

Difficult to think of a more influential rock and roller. One of my absolute favourites from my youth. Had most of his LPs. While being a great rocker he wasn't averse to doing a bit of satirical social comment with this about the then new phenomena of hire purchase. Also one of my favourite tracks.

Doh, he was due to release an album this year!

The article suggested it was ready to go and will still be released

Actually you could. Or at least i could. Disassociate the man from the music and appreciate a real collosus of his era
Probably why behaviour like his and others was left unchecked at that time. Thankfully, others have learnt their lesson.

A quick google suggests his crimes wouldn't rule him out as president, so I think you can listen to his music without thinking about them.

(I'd draw the line at murder, but the only person that CB seems likely to have killed is Beethoven)
So because one other got away with something, we should turn a blind eye to all?
