The reason I ask is because the camera angles never showed him doing the kicks so I wondered if it was a stunt double. I'm not saying chuck didn't do his own stunts, but particularly the kicks, I never saw his face; maybe he became less flexible in the latter years.

I had a look on Wikipedia and his brother Aaron is a stunt man. He could easily have been his stunt double for insurance reasons.
