Can anyone suggest a chutney to go with curries? I'm a bit fed up with mango chutney and fancy a change. I did find some in Aldi - papaya and orange I think - a few weeks ago and I liked that, but they don't have it now.

I don't like lime pickle and the supermarkets don't seem to have anything else. I can find loads of nice chutneys to go with cheese and meat but not the sort that I'd eat with a curry.

I'm not looking for recipes. I'm sure I could make my own but I'd end up with far too much. I just want to pop to the shops and buy a jar of something nice.

Brinjal pickle (Aubergine) is good.

Thanks everyone. I'll probably take a look at Waitrose first. I'm not sure we've got any Indian supermarkets - lots of Chinese ones, but that's not quite the same...

Have you noticed that Scandanavian types really dislike fresh Coriander leaf?

I really dislike fresh coriander leaf. Was introduced to it in Cambodia. Fresh coriander and Parmesan cheese: xx(xx(

Chutney is great (tomato chutney... ordinary, but yet special)
Parmesan cheese is great.
Fresh coriander is also great.
Just for the record.

Weirdo.

The two together maybe a bit  but on their own :hungry:
I was going to say I'd have his coriander but seeing as you've expressed an interest, we could go 50-50. Let's not tell @vickster I've got a coriander coloured bike...

Edit: Oh, I started off this post to say I was a firm believer in Indian mixed pickle. Like lime pickle with other guess-the-crunch vegetables thrown in. This addition to the post has little relevance to chutney, so consider it an accompaniment.
