It depends what you want to do with it. I have a Cinelli Experience which is used for commuting and mild longer road rides. It's a whole lot of fun. I can probably use it for a long weekend of very lightweight touring if I put some P-clip rack mounts on it. I'm a big fan of Cinelli.

Not sure about the bar end shifters though, I suppose in time they could be changed. It is a fine looking bike and the review my link points to was favourable.

This area of the market is certainly getting interesting. I am not looking for a CX or Touring style bike, but love reading the posts with new bikes people keep finding.

The Cinelli looks great, fair play. Also liked the Bianchi Zurigo that was posted a couple of days back.

Just goes to show that n+1 is inevitable with inspiration like this. :smile:

I've never actually used bar end shifters, but I think they'd be a useful addition to any drop bar bike, particularly if you ride on the drops a lot.
