Where did the phrase :-
You are (insert name) and I claim my five pounds originate?
Thanks, never heard of him .
you are an egghead and i claim my £5, "wafflycat"
LOL! I'm cr4P at anything like that!
you are allowed to say crap btw
I think it's called Eggheads cos all the contestants have got nits.
This is absolutely bizarre - on the way home today I was thinking of Kolly Kibber...I need to go and lie down. It was a thought around the idea of accidentally meeting someone with a CC jersey...
I nicked it (the phrase) fron VIZ comic. They, I think, nicked the phrase from all those old Reader's Digest type magazines.
That's where I first saw it. They ran a competition where you put money in an envelope addressed to Viz office into a likely looking post box and you had to shout "You are Lucky Lucy and I claim my five pounds". Or something like that.
I now know about Lobby Lud and have had a Pratchett reference explained into the bargain.
I always thought it was from Viz too......
are you sure....................think again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Separate names with a comma.
