Clapham parking info

Been roped into doing the BHF London to Brighton with a couple of friends.A mate did it a few years ago and says he was able to park less than a mile from the Common in a residential street all day for free as there are no restrictions on a Sunday on the side roads is this correct ? Any info greatly appreciated.

You should be ok away from the common and high street, but check out the CPZs on Lambeth councils website. The only issue might be a lack of spaces due to residents parking
