A little word of praise for the producers. With the camerapeople, they make a very professional team, and that team, in part, plays a significant part in making JC. And they have a right not to be pushed around because the man's tired and hungry. They're not caterers.

Well, write it down boy ......
They can't get rid of Jeremy Clarkson, I mean he has the same initials as that Jesus Christ bloke, and he wasn't all bad was he??

Last incarnation of top gear when dropped by the bbc found itself on channel 5 (5th gear) with most of the presenters. Same with Jonathan Ross. It wouldn't surprise me if top gear was taken and re branded by another channel with the same trio.

I wonder how much of the crew are primarily BBC? While it's not necessarily lauded openly, part of what makes the program (I'm guessing it still does, I've not watched it much in the last few years getting a bit bored of it) has been the camera work and some of the much more arty pieces they have done (was it Aston, or Jaguar they did a big homage to near the end of one season). There is some very good stuff that is nothing to do with the presenters and potentially won't follow on to a new show which will give it a different feel. Plus, of course, Channel 5 don't have the Beebs deep pockets.
They do seem to be a good team, but in the infamous South America episode they showed a fair bit of the crew during the "escape". One did get the feeling that they thought they were some branch of the SAS trying to get away from the Bond villains.
Do the SAS fight Bond villains, then?

A pre-planned exit that the BBC are not willing to go along with?
Clarkson may needs to generate support and leave as a victim 'they forced me out' ?

'Being run out of Argentina' was quite obviously going to happen, so can't see why all this is not the same sort of stuff, that being scripted and stage managed.

I can confirm that a hungry driver man is a dangerous one., /QUOTE]

I can't believe the support for this toss-pot coming from a cycling forum!
This isn't support for Clarkson it's a comment on the utter stupidity of making the argument of two grown men into headline news. Other than the two concerned who the hell cares. It is just someone having a row with his [for want of a better word] 'boss". Do we know the facts - no - does it matter that much - no.
Addressing something with some importance MIGHT be a worthy goal but as I said before this is a petty argument between two grown men, not religious leaders not messiahs just a wet TV producer and a presenter . Fine him IF he is guilty of something but headline news - grow up.
