CNG pumps! (10 of them, I think)
Altofts Lane/Whitwood Lane
Whitwood

The location is at the other side of the railway, from the jct32 truckstop/etc....
I didn't know it was there, as it's a long-time since I've been down that road, it's built approximately where the 'dog-track' was (Whitwood Greyhound Stadium), there are also 2 closed pubs there (adjacent to each other (The Bridge Inn & The New Wheatsheaf)
The building in the background, with the blue panel is part of Pelican Engineering; the truck dealers (who used to be a Foden dealer, just south of Leeds
https://www.pelican-eng.co.uk/
It's their Yutong section of the dealership

I actually saw a truck in there this morning!
(I’m sure some of ASDAs fleet are also on CNG?)

AEC Matador gun tractor

I saw one of these rotting away in a clearing whilst walking in the forest near Clun once, it had been converted into a mobile crane, but I recognised it immediately from the Airfix kit I had as a kid. It was in a sorry state, but it looked as if it might just have still worked.

Not sure what section this fits in but an old fire tender. It has an engine but is clearly horse drawn with no drive to the axle. Also has. Fiat engine which isn't what I expected.

This was employers fire engine, a 1923 Gwynne Invincible now in a museum. Only two were ever made, and the other was lost in the blitz during the war. It has a conical leather clutch, which has two settings: on and off, and even the most careful attempt at slipping it resulted in the vehicle bucking as the clutch snatched.

2 x Bedford RL's
Just off B6133/Commonside Lane
Featherstone
(between Wakefield & Pontefract)

There used to be one, at a caravan storage site, along the A639 'Barnsdale Road', the road from Pontefract - Barnsdale Bar (jct 39/A1), I don't know if it's still there
I remember those Green Goddesses operating out of Chelmsford TAVR during the fire strike in 1977. They were driven by the regular army, and had police escorts.
I presume you're referring to 'Hartleys Bridge' at FerryBridge?
Taken after the 'new' A1 opened

I used to love the double bend over that old bridge by the power station, it was a 'nearly there' landmark when we went to stay with the family in Leeds.

Ouch hope he survived...
‘Truck & Driver’ magazine podcast states he walked to Ambulance!!

Amazingly, the driver (& passenger) survived in this one, on the M62 a couple of years ago
They were heading west, from jct31, towards jct 30
That’s the Aire & Calder Navigation Canal!!

The trailer was later recovered from further up the Canal
