Summers used to be a Mercedes fan, but in recent years has run a mixed fleet with Dafs and now Renaults. I did my 'O' CPC with Liz Summers about 35 years ago.

I've just been listening to the latest 'Truck & Driver' (magazine) podcast, it's an extended episode, as it's an interview with John McGuiness (the 'TT' guy)
Some of you may recognise his R620, as it featured in Top Gear, when the annoying one, with the same surname drove it

During the interview, he talks a lot about this Scania
Most surprisingly the cost!!
2006 model, with the best part of 700,000miles on it
With some items being covered by sponsors (ie; Giti tyres, who replaced them all)
He reckons it cost around £1,900!!

It's episode 143, on whatever ‘platform’ you use
He also tells the background to passing his C+E test, & about the Top Gear passes too
