Claud Butler Electra

I mentioned this in my thread with the incognito possibly Falcon bike thread, it's a Claud Butler I think it is says Electra on what's left of the transfer, on the brakes and rear derailleur it has 77 and 79 date stamped on them so a 79/80 ? bike,far more original than the incognito one I'm doing this one up for someone, it doesn't seem to be anything special but a nice thing anyway.
Anyone know anything about the Electra , if I Google it I just get lots of electric bike sales coming up.

So that's what it's supposed to be, ok cheers, most bike models you Google come up with something similar to what you're looking for but with the popularity of electric bikes Google assumed that's what I needed.

Yes I particularly like that combination and it is a very attractive deep blue.

Very nice, thanks for that, the chrome is really good on it wish some of my own chrome cranks were as good.

This is the finished Claud Butler Electron , quite pleased with it, doing it up for someone else much too small for me,
anyone guess at an age for it I did find what I thought might be a date of 77 and 78 on the brakes but it has a look of an older bike.

If it's in a circle with an arrow pointing at it then that's the date code
